If you haven’t already made plans for Valentine’s Day, don’t worry, you’re probably not alone. Living in Columbia has many perks, one of them being lots of options for places to eat, stay and be entertained. Columbia CBV has a dedicated a calendar of events and deals sure to make your Valentine’s Day “famously hot.”
If you and your Valentine are more of the athletic type, start your day running in the annual Cupid’s Chase 5k Run. The race is sponsored by Community Options, Inc., whose mission is to provide housing and employment support to people with disabilities.
Your entire family is invited to Feel the Love (of ART) at Family Fun Day: Sweet on CMA at the Columbia Museum of Art. Attendees have the opportunity to make a Valentine for someone special, take a Love-Struck tour, participate in the I Heart Art Gallery Tour, and strike a pose in the Be Mine Selfie Booth.
There are also events for those who may want a different take on the notoriously sweet day. For those people, “My Deceased Valentine” will be shown at Deceased Farm in Lexington, SC and “My Bloody Valentine” will play at the Nickelodeon Theatre on Main Street. Check out the calendar for more events.
